Angled view of an L-shaped Alucent corner wardrobe with acrylic doors on both wings and the corner bay open, showing a rotating rail swung out toward the viewer
Drawn to scale from the real dimensions, not photographed — so a 1800 mm bank genuinely looks wider here than a 600 mm one. Why we draw the range.

Atrium Corner Wardrobe

The corner that was doing nothing

A corner is the hardest square metre in any bedroom: too shallow for a wardrobe on one wall, too valuable to waste. Atrium takes both walls at once. The two wings hang normally and the corner bay — the part that defeats every fitted carpenter — gets a rotating rail that swings the clothes out to you instead of leaving them unreachable behind the return. It is the most storage per square metre of floor we make, and at 1300 mm per wing it holds more than the 1800 mm three-door.

Size — W × D × H
Frame finish — Natural Anodised
Door panel — Clear Acrylic

Cast, not extruded. Cast acrylic is the more expensive process and the reason these doors stay optically clear instead of yellowing under a few years of afternoon sun — it has better UV stability, machines to a cleaner polished edge, and does not carry the faint directional haze extruded sheet has. It is also roughly half the weight of glass at the same size, which is what lets the frame stay this slim.

About the Atrium Corner

My walls are not square. Does that matter?

Less than you would fear. The unit ships with scribe fillets on both wall returns that take up to 15 mm of out-of-square without a visible gap, which covers the great majority of plastered walls. Beyond 15 mm — an old shophouse, a wall with a service duct boxed into it — we would rather measure the room and build it to fit, which is a made-to-measure enquiry rather than an online order.

Is the corner space actually usable?

Yes, and that is the entire reason the product exists. The corner bay has a rotating rail on a 270° swing: you open the door and pull the rail toward you, and what was behind the return comes out to the opening. Fixed rails into a corner are where clothes go to be forgotten, which is why every fitted wardrobe treats the corner as a shelf and gives up.
