Product illustrations

Every product image on this site is a drawing, made by us, generated from the same dimensions published in the specification tables. They are drawn at one consistent scale across the whole catalogue, so an 1800 mm three-door genuinely appears wider than a 600 mm single rather than merely different.

We draw rather than photograph because we own no photography of this range yet, and the usual substitute — stock images of other manufacturers' wardrobes — would misrepresent the product on the exact page where someone is deciding to spend two thousand dollars. When there is a unit to photograph, the drawings get replaced. More on that decision.

Photography

The photographs used elsewhere on the site — the hero band, collection tiles and editorial sections — are licensed stock, used for atmosphere. None of them shows an Alucent product, and none is captioned as one. They come from Pexels, and every photographer is named below with a link to their work.

Set in Instrument Serif and Instrument Sans, both by Instrument, released under the SIL Open Font License. They are self-hosted rather than loaded from a third-party CDN, so no request about your visit to this site is made to anyone else.
